Another of Quirk's books set in Washington, DC. This time the plot involves security agents and a politician wanting a run at the presidency, but has a secret that can't be discovered. The short chapters, snappy dialogue, simple sentences, good plotting, and lots of physical action seem to be Quirks's trademark in keeping the suspense tense in his thrillers. I enjoyed his book, "Night Agent" more, but the "Hour of the Assassin" is also a good summer read.
