Brilliant sci-fi thriller masterpiece that is action packed with every page meaningful. Insightful gaze into our future that also applies today for govt - media manipulations & suppressions of true events. WOW !!

Read all three Zones of Thoughts books and this one is my favourite by far. The concepts discussed were so ahead of its time, the plot and twists were complete surprises, and the villains were so despicable and real, you feel genuine terror for the protagonists. Just when you think all is lost the book turns and you're left flipping pages breathlessly. The ending was outstanding.

Another great, great book from Vernor Vinge. I am loving the Zones of Thought series. I loved the spider-aliens, and the exciting double-cross, political thriller action. My heart was literally pounding as I read some scenes. Really looking forward to Children of the Sky!

One of my favorite science fiction novels. Also try A Fire upon the Deep by the same author.
