It seems like this is a story I’ve heard before. The grass is greener on the other side? Don’t covet other people and their stuff. There’s no place like home?
It was an ok read, but not particularly life changing.

I read this book when I was in High School and found it very inspiring. It made me dream :)

I have not read the novel as I am more of a visual person so I chose to read the graphic novel. At first, I was intrigued by the story but soon the monotony of its "philosophy" became far too apparent for me. I felt myself losing interest quickly about midway. The main character, Santiago seemed unremarkable to me as well as his journey.

sounds really good i wanna but not today

Even though I completed this story I can't say I really enjoyed it.It was a combination of fantasy and biblical.
