Totally boring and stupid movie. Not worth the time to put the disk in the player. Do not watch this it is a waste of time.

Horrible piece of crap. I kept waiting for the movie to start. A waste of film.

Subtle & realistic. Some of the scenes were so true, I felt slightly sick watching them. It did make me wonder why I kept feeling the husband should know better & put a stop to what was obviously happening, and yet I didn't feel that with the wife. Perhaps it was because it seemed so apparent that each evening would go the way it did, & she clearly had more scruples than he did. But which is worse: short-term physical infidelity, or long-term emotional infidelity? Or are they equal for the pain and disruption they cause? Perhaps it depends on which partner is unfaithful in which way. I can see how some people might think this movie boring; at the same time, I found it wholly engaging and interesting. So curious about the ending - very much a tease.

I saw this with a couple of friends and after watching, it started a lengthy conversation about what defines "cheating". Just the physical or is having a partner emotionally connected to another even worse? It's a character study over the course of one evening. None of the characters are good or bad, and chances are you may have been 2 or 3 of them at different times in your life.
If your looking for sweeping romance or mindless entertainment, go elsewhere. If you enjoy good actors portraying thought provoking characters, try this.

Simple in appearance and basic structure yet complicated and chaotic in messages, feelings, and emotions. No major drama or heart-racing scenes, but still worthy of admiration.

Good – Last Night stars Sam Worthington, Kiera Knightley and Eva Mendes. The film’s focus is on relationships, the secrets couples keep from each other, and how those secrets affect their relationships. What I appreciated most about this film is the impact the actions taken by the individuals impacted themselves – as though one could never run from oneself. The tone of the film may not jump out at the viewer but its implied feel allows the viewer to feel what the actors are experiencing – guilt and suspicion. There are many examples in this film that demonstrate what not to do in a serious relationship. For instance, all one has to ask oneself is the following “are my actions and thoughts creating barriers between me and my spouse/fiancée/boy or girl friend”. If the answer is “yes”, pray for the strength to stop immediately. It’s an amazing gift that God has brought two people together – take some control over that gift to ensure it is well cared for. Final thought – great ending.

stembridge Jan 26, 2012 from this horrid movie. Dull, boring, stupid and that's just the first 15 minutes. Couldn't bring myself to get much further into it.

There is an upside to this flick: Anyone who's ever been in a relationship will be able to relate to this film in some way or another. But Keira Knightley proves once again why she's way too smart for these kind of navel-gazing Hollywood exercises. Unfortunately, Sam Worthington can't rise above his signature catatonic state and finally 'act' for a change. And the others are all just window dressing, I'm afraid - including the previous voluptuous Eva Mendes. And Griffin Dunne??! The same 1981 Griffin Dunne who played the re-animated zombie 'Jack', in AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON - 'that' Griffin Dunne? 30 year later in this movie??! 'Reanimated' again, and acting like a kinda audience-stand-in, as Keira's former-lover's best friend - laying all those platonic lines on our girl to elicit what's supposedly really still going on between them... Oh P-l-e-a-s-e...!

One of the worst movies I've seen in quite a while. Boring beyond belief. Just a lot of bad dialog from pretentious characters.
